Strange silence of YSRCP leaders comes as a surprise to many
Reportedly ever since bifurcation, there was one looming threat for Andhra Pradesh, which was the advent of natural disasters as the state has a long coast. When Cyclone Hudhud struck a blow, the government's crisis management was lauded. Hence even when Cyclone Titli threw the state of out of gear, the state could recover quickly due to pro-activeness of the administration.
Furthermore one common factor when natural disasters or Cyclone warnings have threatened the state is the absence of YSR Congress Party and its leaders during the natural disaster while they immediately crop up with criticism soon after. During Cyclone Hudhud and Titli, they visited the cyclone hit areas and criticized the government for neglect. However, this time, when Cyclone Fani's threat was sounded for the state, the disappearance of YSR Congress President, Y.S Jaganmohan Reddy, came as a huge surprise.
Recently netizens have been questioning about why Jagan has been silent about it when he could have made the most out of helping out people during Fani. Moreover as someone who has been claiming that he is confident of becoming the next Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, he should have done his bit through YSRCP where people would have trusted him as an alternative.
